Waverly Hills Sanitorium

Just to share with you a place that I would love to visit and that I have become quite fascinated with, Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Kentucky, USA. I first heard about this place when I watched 'Spooked' (www.spooked.org) - the chilling documentary film done by Christopher Saint Booth. There is a film as well based on it called 'death tunnel' but I didn't rate that much. But the documentary is good and quite frightening actually.

Waverly Hills Sanatorium is one of those places I want to see before I die. If for nothing more than to physically see the magnitude of that building. It looks horrifying before you even step in to its allegedly haunted walls. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49-YjZHHrOY

It has a rich and quite disturbing history. If you check out www.therealwaverlyhills.com you can read all about it. The body chute has to be the creepiest bit though. There is some good spooky video footage and evp's as well. If you find ghosts and all that interesting, or you just like to have the pants scared off you, check it out.
